On September 3rd, 2010, Emerson Electric Company completed its acquisition of Chloride, including both Chloride Power Protection and ONEAC in the USA. Since then, Emerson has slowly absorbed Chloride into its own system here in the United Sates. Emerson has let go almost all of the Chloride employees, dismantled Chloride’s 3rd party network of authorized service providers, dismissed all Chloride UPS Sales Representatives, and discontinued the sale of all Chloride products here in the United States.
During this time, Jantech Services has continued to provide you with the ‘best in class’ service solutions for your Chloride UPS including our Full Maintenance Program. However, we have found it increasingly difficult to source replacement parts from Emerson for your Chloride UPS in a reasonable time period or at a reasonable cost. In fact, some parts for equipment manufactured within the last two years are already unavailable. This is not allowing us to continue to provide you, our valued customer and business partner, with the service levels that you expect from us here at Jantech.
Because of this parts availability issue, effective immediately, Jantech Service will no longer be able to offer Full Maintenance contracts on any Chloride UPS Systems. We will honor all outstanding commitments that we currently have, and will continue to offer both Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance contracts on all your Chloride UPS systems. We will in fact continue to help you support your currently installed equipment as long as parts remain available.
Be assured that we did not come to this decision easily due to the fact that Jantech’s continuing goal of exceeding customer expectations, and always providing customer specific service and product solutions is the very backbone of all we believe.
